A movie that will make you feel blessed after watching
and I am fortunate I was able to catch the last screening of it last 24th
December at 7:15pm in Glorieta Cinema 1.
Paglaya
sa Tanikala is about a Warrior of Light who dedicated
himself to serve the poor and the abandoned especially the children and his
legacy continues - this is the story of the Sainthood of Jerome Emiliani.
Director Michael Angelo Dagnalan's film is one of the 5
entries on the 38th MMFF New Wave Special
that inspires and will inspires the audience in all walks of life.
Matteo Gauduclli will be cited as Best Actor for his
challenging dual role in this film during the awards night scheduled on the 27th
Dec. at the Meralco Theater, together with "Berto" as Best Child
Performer.
Paglaya
sa Tanikala's cinematography is noteworthy and its'
story adaptation is so dedicated to St. Jerome's life which is absolutely great
cause commonly, screen adaptation in some movies have major changes when it is
already shown on the big screen but Director Dagnalan has been faithful to the
saint's biography.
More than faith and sainthood, Paglaya sa Tanikala is about changing the lives of astray children
providing them new hope and dreams to fulfill. More than being a hero, Paglaya sa Tanikala is about engraving
faith by spreading the Word of God thru' catechism and more than being blessed,
Paglaya sa Tanikala is about sharing what we have, our skills,
knowledge, wealth and even our lives.
Paglaya
sa Tanikala shows sacrifice and fervent faith to the
Blessed Virgin, to God and in daily lives to children. There is so much
goodness in the world that Paglaya sa
Tanikala opened to moviegoers and realization is all that is needed. Then
apply what is necessary.
Paglaya sa Tanikala one of the inspiring movies released this year. For sure this will capture the hearts of our brosthers & sisters once viewed in special screenings and film festivals.
