"AD IGNORANTIAM is a
reasoning fallacy that asserts a proposition is true because it has not been
proven false.
The
film is a rendering of a real-life account of a robbery case where a bank
messenger is accused of snatching the gold necklace of a university professor.
The victim and her friend formally file a robbery case against the accused. The
lengthy court trial traces the chain of events surrounding the incident – the actual
snatching of the necklace, the chase between the accused and the victim’s
friend, the confrontation in the restaurant among the parties where the accused
denies the accusation, the summoning of the police and the eventual arrest of
the victim.
I would like to highlight the movie's musical scoring, though it's raw, you would feel the intensity of the scene,
it adds tension as it recorded the natural sound of the vicinity, unedited and realistic - I just love the way it sounded. Two songs' used are potential hit in our local music industry. "Ale, Ale" and one performed by Rain.
Acting-wise, Ina Feleo, Kimmy Maclang and Mercedes Cabral's acting are noteworthy - one of them might get an award this coming 27 Dec. (Let's keep our fingers crossed.)
The plot is based on true events that it doesn't need to exaggerate the scenes. The storytelling is effective and remakable
