A psycho-thriller film about Andrea
Maglalang (Mercedes Cabral), a hotel receptionist in Castaway Hotel who is
madly inlove with a famous TV
personality Sam Lloyd Pascual (Francis Lopez, 2011 Mr. Phils.) – the leading man
of Sarah Alonzo (Janelle Manahan) in a popular telenovela. When Sam Lloyd
checked-in at the hotel, Andrea got the chance to spend a night with him. But
she was dumped, with so much admiration and pain, Andrea in return had her
sweet revenge - a relationship called Bad Romance.
The 1st directorial debut
of Ian del Carmen, who studied filmmaking in Hollywood Film Institute under Dov
SS. Simens (Quintin Tarantino’s mentor), Greg Curda (The Godfather) &
Daniel Anaya (Titanic) of International Academy of Film and Television.
Likewise, this is the 1st
indie film of Aiza Seguerra (as a private detective), Jayson Gainza
(waiter/bell boy of the hotel), Ogie Diaz (the Talent Manager) and Karen
Gallman (as Melanie, the mistress of Eduardo Villapando played by Rey PJ
Abellana) – [Miss Photogenic of 2012 Bb. Pilipinas & 2nd
Runner-Up of 2012 Ms. Resorts World] and Janelle Manahan’s 1st
silver screen appearance after the Revilla controversy.
With an R16 MTRCB Rating, Bad
Romance, opens on April 10 in all major SM Cinemas in Metro Manila.
