The latest installment of Bourne series based on the novel by Robert Ludlum is now on the big screen and theaters nationwide allocated 1/2 of their cinemas to this film.
Well, primary reason is that ¾ of the movie is taken in the Philippines most especially the highly-thrilled, action-packed scenes on the busy-congested streets of Maynila-Taft-EDSA-Quiapo. Feel the a spinning roller coaster while watching the swift-rapid unending chase while riding a motorcycle while a sarao jeep beside is on the loose.
It was a remarkable script by the way – that’s the advantage when the director is also one of the scriptwriter – Tony Gilroy knew what angle and shot he will take. I love it.

I clapped and I can’t control it whenever I hear someone in the scene speaking in Filipino, and the conversation of Aaron Cross (Renner) and Dr. Marta Shearing (Weisz) as to where is the chems located, of course in “Manila, Philippines!” plus the text that appeared on the lower-right side of the screen that reads MANILA, PHILIPPINES. I felt a sense of pride on this film special mention to the local actors who where included in this movie. (A hint: the last 1 minute scene was taken in El Nido, Palawan).

A TRIVIA: Aaron Cross character is not included in Ludlum novels.
Bourne Legacy. Ahmmm. It’s More Fun In The Philippines.
I warn you, don't you dare miss this movie.
